A schedule of everyday scan for a computer might be too much for some users so it is advisable to schedule a full computer scan for viruses twice or once a week to thoroughly check all computer files. Some malwares may also enter a computer just like a virus do and may damage a computer with effects greater than that of a virus. Anti-virus and other anti-malware scans are best scheduled twice to once a month and best turned on to check devices inserted to the computer.
